The Grind is a premier street-style snowboarding series hosted by Canada Snowboard.
The Grind will feature Jam Style formats which showcase continuous rider sessions with dynamic judged runs, ensuring non-stop excitement!
It also features team competitions showcasing teams from various countries, promoting unity and a friendly rivalry.
All competitions will be held at night, under lights, creating a vibrant atmosphere and a unique visual experience in the heart of downtown Regina. Spectators will watch athletes push the boundaries of snowboarding, bringing the sport to new heights, taking riders out of the traditional mountain terrain.
Frost Regina Committee Chair, Judith Veresuk, says, “We have a great appreciation for snowboarding because (Regina)’s the home of Mark McMorris. So who knows, maybe we’ll find the next up-and-coming Mark McMorris from one of the visitors, or one of the kids that come out to see the see The Grind, and say, ‘That’s what I want to do.’”
