The Welcome Centre is a safe, warm and welcoming place where newcomers and community members can congregate and socialize, access services and referrals and more. The Centre hosts classes and programs and also assists people in accessing ESL services and resources, searching for jobs and more within a child-friendly environment.
Here, we help remove some of the barriers that can make relocating difficult and help assist all newcomers in becoming active and informed members of the community, providing information, access and understanding.
The Centre also acts as a shared and common space for a wide number of groups engaged in settlement and immigration issues, as well as those promoting acceptance and diversity.
