Saskatoon, SK, is lucky to be a hosting city of the 2018 FIBA (International Basketball Federation) World Tour Masters. This event is fun and exciting, as you get to witness both top athletes and up and comers compete for a chance to win cash prizes, awards and recognition.
CANADA REPRESENTS
While any player, regardless of nationality or representation of a city, can partake in the FIBA World Tour Masters those who aren’t professional will have to play in lower level tournaments for a chance to make their way up. Teams consist of only 4 players in the Fiba 3x3 World Tour Masters, which makes the possible $60,000 USD grand prize even that much sweeter. Saskatoon athletes Michael Linklater, Michael Lieffers, Nolan Brudehl and Steve Sir (Edmonton) will be competing in this year’s tournament, so don’t forget to cheer them on!
