There’s nothing quite like a good country song. From the lyrics to the melody to the toe-tapping beat, country music warms up the soul and makes you feel like you belong, whether you’re listening alone or in a stadium full of people. Over the next couple of months, Saskatoon has an awesome lineup of country music shows that will give you those goosebumps and make you sing along.
Check out some of the awesome country music concerts happening in Saskatoon this fall:
LUKE COMBS | OCTOBER 10
Luke Combs comes to the SaskTel Centre on October 10th with his “Beer Never Broke My Heart” tour! Luke Combs has won CMA and AMC awards, won the 2019 ACM award for New Male Artist of the Year and has been the first artist to top all five Billboard country charts for multiple weeks — so you’re guaranteed an unforgettable show! Joining him are supporting artists Morgan Wallen, the Cadillac Three, and Jameson Rodgers. Tickets start at just $23 and the concert is open to all ages!
DALLAS SMITH AND DEAN BRODY | OCTOBER 15
Country artists Dallas Smith and Dean Brody are larger than life and are bringing their awesome tunes to SaskTel Centre on October 15th. Their tour is aptly called “Friends Don’t Let Friends Tour Alone,” a sweet sentiment that also packs a punch by letting you see two amazing headliners in one night. And since it’s the more the merrier, you’ll get to see special guests Chad Brownlee and MacKenzie porter perform as well, for an evening you surely won’t forget. Tickets for this all-ages concert start at just $39.50, so be sure to bring all your friends along too!
SASK COUNTRY SHOWCASE | NOVEMBER 21
If you truly love country music, you won’t want to miss the Sask Country Showcase on November 21st. This event is “a performance gala dedicated to showcasing songwriters and contemporary chart-toppers with Saskatchewan roots.” If you like getting bang for your buck, you’ll love that you get to see two headlining and six supporting artists at the showcase (it’s like a music festival condensed into one night)! The 2019 Sask Country Showcase features Jess Moskaluke, Tenille Arts, Jay Semko, Aaron Goodvin, Samara Yung, and more. The event takes place at TCU Place - Sid Buckwold Theatre and tickets are just $49. Plus, all event proceeds go to the Saskatoon Society for the Protection of Children, so you can feel extra good while you sing and clap along to the beats.
To get you pumped up for the show, visit our 24-hour coffee bar for a complimentary cup of coffee before you head out on the town. And after a late night at the concert (and maybe a nightcap!) wake up to a free HomeEssentials breakfast that will get you ready for a brand new day!
