For this year’s edition of our School’s Out program the Hall of Fame is partnering with Nature Saskatchewan to offer a chance to try four traditional Indigenous games for free from February 18-21 in Victoria Park.
The School’s Out program will run twice daily, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. and 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Participants will enjoy a guided tour of the SSHF galleries, active play on our adaptive curling rink, STEM Gallery, and multisport simulator. Then, weather permitting, we’ll head outside to play four traditional Indigenous games designed to help participants develop skills needed to live off the land: run and scream, hoop and arrow, hoop and stick, and rock and fist.
After two hours of fun, participants can warm up with hot chocolate and cookies in our boardroom.
**The program is free, thanks to a Winter Initiatives Grant from the City of Regina and is best suited for children aged 4–12.**
