Starting with fiddle in 1998, guitar in 2003, and beatmaking in 2004, Mars draws inspiration from legends like Charlie Daniels, Johnny Cash, Marty Robbins, Bo Diddley, Kanye West, and UGK, layering an honest delivery with classic country grit and outlaw attitude.
Daniels splits his time between East Montana and Los Angeles, having worked in the music industry with outfits such as Internet Money, the EngineEars, Lil Eddie Music, Lowly, Hundredup, EA Sports, The XFactor, and as caretaker for the tortoises hank and turbo, prized mascots of Thomas Wesley, alias Diplo.
